    A Veteran

“Whether active duty, retired, National Guard, or Reserve,

Is someone who, at one point in his or her life,

Wrote a blank check made payable to: The United States of America,

For an amount of up to and including his\her  life”

    Our Mission

At Robert F. Garrison VFW Post 3350, we are dedicated to providing top-notch services and support to our veterans. Our mission is to help veterans transition back into civilian life as smoothly as possible.

    Please Remember...

When you see a veteran or member of the military, please walk up to them and thank them for their service to our country. It is because of them we can enjoy our freedom.

No one does more for Veterans than the VFW !

In honor of the men and woman who proudly and honorably served to protect and defend the rights and freedoms of this great nation and the state of New York.

“The willingness with which our young people are likely

to serve in any war , no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive how the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation”

    George Washington

Which is observed on the last Monday of May, commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service.  In observance of the holiday, many people visit cemeteries and memorials. Veterans and volunteers always place American flags on each grave site at national cemeteries.

A national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time.
