  Greetings fellow Veteran,

As our military winds down after more than a decade of war in two theaters, the Veterans of Foreign Wars stand ready to welcome our servicemen and women home and to thank them for their service around the globe. More than anyone else, the Veteran understands that nothing in this world is free.

All of the benefits we enjoy have been gained through the hard work and dedication of military service organizations such as the VFW, and it is the VFW that continues to represent the interests of our wartime service members, to seek improvement of current benefits, and to seek new benefits to keep pace with the times.

As veterans, we understand the concept of strength in numbers. The extent of our ability to affect change is directly related to our membership, which also needs to reflect the groups of service members we represent. Having this in mind, we would like to invite all wartime service members who have served from World War II to the present conflicts in Southwest Asia to join us here at Post 3350. Should you choose to become a member, your participation will help us fight to support our fellow veterans while ensuring that you are kept up to date on all of the benefits you have earned.

We hope to see you at the next meeting.
Fraternally,
Your fellow Comrades
